Hi the clicking sound would mean the selenoid on the starter motor is not working as it should so replacing the starter motor will solve your problem.

you could try hitting the starter motor with a hammer to free it up but doing this wont work for long, also if your car has manual gearbox then you can put the car in gear and get someone to push it so that the engine turns over slightly then it should start using the key.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

If the car isn't turning over (starting) it sounds like you have a flat battery. Does it make a click click click sound?

Make sure battery is fully charged. Check all battery cable connections. Make sure they are tight and free of corrosion.

Clicking sound but engine won't start

This actually does sound like the battery is low on charge. A battery which is quite low on charge will still light the headlights and run many other electrical accessories, but will not engage the starter (which requires much more power than other accessories).
I would start by making sure that an electrical device, such as interior lights, glove box lights, trunk light or something else has not been left on. Then carefully jump start the engine. It is also possible that the battery might need to be replaced for not holding a charge.

check to make sure yu have 12v at the battery, once you do turn the ignition to start, if nothing, check the fuse and relays that control ignition, if all is good then the click sound is coming from the starter, have the solenoid replace.
