1. Remove the battery and battery tray.
2. Remove the lower radiator hose.
3. Remove wiring harness from starter bracket.
4. Label and disconnect the wires from the starter motor solenoid.
5. Remove the 2 bolts that mount the starter to the trans.

The starter cost is around $100. I would expect to pay an additional $100-250 for installation. I would not go to a dealership. It is not a hard fix.

They're probably not ridiculously hard to change, but very few ever get changed. It's not a hard job, just takes patience, a flat floor, some fairly expensive parts, tools, jack stands and a floor jack.

Just the very top ring of the transmission dipstick is visible with the air filter housing lifted up. Removing the upper air filter housing and the rubber ducting for the intake will allow enough room for a transmission funnel to be used.

Check ebay for the regulator if you do not have a wholesale place to get it.

Do you mean the automatic door lock won't lock or unlock? If so, you need an actuator replacement.
