Gas keeps spilling out

Everytime I try and fill up on fuel, the fuel pump keeps on stopping as if the vehicle is full and it isn't. What could cause that?

Your vent pipe which allows gas fumes to come out of your tank as you fill it sounds like it's not working.Did this just happen and if so have you had anyone working on your vehicle near the fuel filler?

When fueling the pump keeps clicking off as if the tank is full

The fuel cap won't make a difference as the fuel cap is off when filling with fuel.
This is quite common with a number of vehicles, yet not necessarily anything to do with any fault of the vehicle, as it may simply be the sensitivity of the fuel pump nozzle. If the vehicle is otherwise operating normally, then I would suggest that there is no issue with it.
I would instead try angling the fuel pump nozzle or withdrawing it slightly, but not all the way out when filling with fuel.

2004 nissan sentra have problem pumping gas

When you're pumping gas, does it stop you at the end, when the tank is nearly full, or is it not letting you pump gas at all? And how does the fuel gauge read after you've added gas? If it stops you and it still says the tank isn't full, it could just be that the float in your tank that connects to the gauge is wrong.

When filling up with gas , the pumps stops and I have to fill tank very slowely

Some cars have a rather sharp bend in the fuel tank filler pipe. Try rotating the pump's nozzle so that it is more horizontal to the ground. Try it one way, if that does not work rotate it 180 degrees to the opposite direction.

The gas tank accepts only a gallon or so of gas before clicking off. It takes a very long time to fill the tank.

SOUND LIKE EVAP CONTROL SYSTEM NOT WORKING.COULD HAVE STOPPED UP FUEL SOAK EVAP CHARCOAL CANISTER.OR THE PURGE SOLENOID NOT WORKING ALSO GAS CAP COULD BE FAULTY.HAVE THE EVAP SYSTEM CODE SCANNED.WHEN PUMPING GAS EASE THE GAS SPOUT OUT JUST A LITTLE SO YOU CAN PUMP GAS IN TAKE.REASON CAR WONT ACCEPT GAS BECAUSE EXCESS GAS VAPORS CAUSES PRESSURE TO BUILD UP IN FUEL TANK IN WHICH WILL KEEP GAS FROM BEING PUMPED IN FUEL TANK.

FUEL SENDING UNIT IN THE FUEL TANK FAULTY.THE FLOAT ARM ATTACH TO SENDING UNIT.THE FUEL SENDING IS A RHEOSTAT WITH ELECTRICAL CURRENT FLOWING TO IT.YOU HAVE A COIL OF RESISTANCE WIRE IN RHEOSTAT.WHEN FLOAT+ ARM RISE WHEN PUMPING MORE FUEL IN TANK THIS CAUSE MORE CURRENT FLOW THROUGH COIL FROM RHEOSTAT TO FUEL GAUGE WHICH CAUSE FUEL GAUGE MOVE TO FULL MARK.WHEN FUEL LEVEL DROP THE FLOAT + ARM DROP CAUSE LOW CURRENT THROUGH RHEOSTAT COIL WIRE IN WHICH CAUSE FUEL GAUGE NEEDLE TO DROP SHOWING LOW FUEL LEVEL IN THE FUEL TANK.

When pump gas into fuel tank gas keep cutting off it act like the tank is full

It is the angle and restricter in the fill tube plus the pressure from the pump causing it to do that. There is nothing wrong with this. You need to find the best angle to use when filling the vehicle. I had this same problem in a 2005 Escape. Had had to find the right place to hold the filling handle and the right position to hold the grip to get it to stop.

Fueling causes gas to back-up

Turn the handle 1 way or the other to follow the path of the fill spout as it is at an extreme angle beyond the filler nozzle portion.

Fuel spills out when I fill up.

It is the filler neck it causes splash back.
