Fan is coming on in a timely manner and i have now taken out the thermostat to see how it goes, might give me an indication of whether the thermostat is the problem.
It seems as if when idle the the car is ok and not overheating - soon as you press the accelerator and hold for a while it seems to then start overheating, and temp climbs.
Thanks for taking the time to try and help me with my problem...

Mazda 626 overheating fixable

Any engine issue is fixable, it comes down to how much you intend to spend based on the year and condition of the car. Until the cause of the overheating is know (at least $100 for diagnosis) the cost to repair can be from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars.

Hi my Mazda etude 1999 model is overheating oil the water is boiling in side the cooler once you switch off the engine but inside the deshboard the heat gaurd its normal so I don't know what wrong

Sounds like you may have a blown head gasket. If there is oil in the coolant, and musty brown look and smells bad that's the culprit. I would do a rad flush and oil change and see what happens next...

My car a Mazda 2.0lt 1986 model keeps on overheating during a jurny we overalled the head and fitted a new head gasket but it keeps on overheating what's wrong

When you replaced the headgasket did you ensure that there were no cracks in the head? I know you say it was overhauled, just trying to cover all the bases. Did you change the thermostat when you replaced the headgasket? Is your radiator plugged or possibly your heater core. Start the car with the rad cap off and watch as it warms up. Once engine gets to temperature you should be able to see the fluid move in the radiator. If it overheats before that happens then your thermostat is sticking.

I noticed the fan motor on the engine is not running when started the engine my car is a Mazda Friendee 2001 model

The electric fan is controled by the on board computer in your car and it is not important weather it came on when you started your car or not. What is important is that it comes on when the computer commands it to do so. Has the car been overheating or anything? When the engine reaches a Predetermined temperature in the computers programing, the computer well turn the fan on.If the fan never comes on any more and the engine is overheating then let me know and I will assist you with the problem. Good Luck and have a good XMASS.

Engine overheating

All i can think of is the thermostat is not opening. or you may have a clog somewhere preventing the flow. Check the T-stat and hoses and radiator ( for clogs) Good luck
