Intermittent. Engine cranks but won't start. Wait 10 seconds and try again. Then it starts

For an engine to run, you need spark, fuel, and compression.
You can rule out compression, so you would need to know if you are missing spark to the plugs or fuel to the injectors when it will not start.
I doubt it is the computer.
My first guess would be low fuel pressure, either from a faulty fuel pump relay or a problem with the fuel pump.

2003 crown victoria cranks wont start, was running fine, just cut out.never started again

As with any no-start situation, you need to know if you have spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and normal compression to proceed.

03 Altima 2.5, Wont turn over on cold start

First, change the fuel filter, and make sure the lines are good. Check the intake manifold bolts for tighness, check all vacuum lines. Best to have it running, wiggle them around and listen for a hiss. Lastly, change idle control sensor, if the other suggestions don't make a difference.

92 Chevy Suburban Electrical Fuel System

Check fuel flter at fuel pick-up intank (looks like a small wire sock). Remove fuel filter and fitting at fuel rail. Blow out fuel lines w/about 35lbs air press. Ck electrical @ relay - should be 4 connectors - one is key on hot/one is always hot/one is ground and last is hot to fuel pump. Good Luck

Sometimes on starting, the roll is long before the engine starts.

It sounds like the check valve in the fuel pump inside your fuel tank is starting to fail. The check valve keep a fuel pressure in the fuel line, so the next time you start, the pressure is there and you get a rapid start. When the check valve is bad, the fuel pressure bleeds off and the pump must build up the pressure again.
BTW- When you turn the ignition key, the term is "cranks" or "turns over" until a start condition.
Hope this helps.
