Brake lights

Check brake light switch, generally a misadjust could cause this; this device is located on top, back side of the brake pedal.

Brake lights don't work on 2004 Alero

Take the bulb out on the right side and test the terminals in the connector whilst someone else presses on the brakes. If you get 12 volts, then replace your bulb. If you don't get 12 volts, you will have to trace down the problem starting at the bulb. Usually a blown fuse or bad brake switch will cause the entire brake light unit to not function, so I am sure this has to be a wiring issue.

Center high-mounted stoplight is not working? Where is the relay?

If the two rear brake light are working on each side, then fuse and relay are good, check the bulb.

Brake light dont work. 2006 chevy truck, 4.8L 2wd

Some of these had two fuses for brake lights. One for the top/center stop lamp and another for the rear left and right brake lights. Usually one said "stop" and the other said "brake" and one was in the underhood panel while the other was in the dash fuse panel. It's not uncommon to blow a brake light fuse [LR and RR] if you tow a trailer but some of these had seperate fuses for the trailer lights also. If you have a test light check both sides of the two fuses for power [ignition key on] while stepping on the brakes. It should at lest narrow your search a bit.

My driver and passenger side brake lights are not working but the center brake light on the rear door works fine. The fuses and bulbs seem to be fine. Any ideas?

I would try changing the bulbs even if they seem fine. Usually when bulbs burn out both sides go at the same time.

No brake lights on the left are right side center light works fine

if neither side lights up it is likely that one of your bulbs or both are burned out......

because if the center one works then that means that your fuses are ok.....and the switch aswell......

try looking at the bulbs if you havent yet....

hope this helps XD
