Question about 1999 Toyota Corolla
I rolled my window down today and now its all the way down and not coming up. All the other windows work except the drivers. I took the window master control switch out and plugged it back in (the controls for all the windows in the drivers door) but it didn't change anything. The button feels a little stickier than before but maybe I'm imagining things? Any thoughts? Think buying a replacement window power button for $60 is worth it or a waste?
Hold on before you waste $60 my suggestion is remove door panel and use a test light to verify power and ground by unplugging window motor stick probe of test light into one cavity of connector and you will need jumper wire or paper clip in other cavity for test light ground(alligator clamp) making a loop then press switch in up or down position test lights bulb switch is good indicating bad motor which is most likely your problem --make sure your on the harness side not motor side ....quick,easy,and fullproof for diag.please rate this

One question. Do you know how to test the master control ,as you call it? You NEVER buy a replacement part on a guess. Always understand how a part works, test it,then replace if bad.
Do you have VOM Meter and basic Electrical Knowledge? If you find the switch assy ,good or bad ,can you proceed with a wiring diagram and troubleshoot the entire effected system?
