there are 4 wires go to alternator
2 white wires go to battery
1 black wire goes to ground
1 yellow/black goes to bulb check relay
starter has only two wires
the big one goes to the battery and the small one goes to ignition system. you can not mix the terminals because the size of the studs on the starter

Check with a local salvage yard, as they have the Hollander interchange info, that tells what will swap with what. Make sure you offer a little comp for their trouble, as this information costs them money to have! If you are lucky, and it does swap, make sure you remove the pilot bearing or bushing from the hole in the rear of the manual trans engine"s cranckshaft, as it won't mate up otherwise.
