Pontiac aztek will not go into the ignition

Have you tried Lock ease or some other Lock Cylinder Lubricant? Even motor Oil usually will work but you will have to wipe off the Key several times. I have a 2002 Aztek and lubricate all the locks annually. I have had your problem only once and Oil did the trick. The only other thing I can think of is the possibility of someone putting a foreign object into the Lock such as a small piece of wire or Paper Clip. It could also have a worn out lock cylinder where the tumbler springs have popped out due to lack of lubrication and wear. Let me know!

I have a 2003 aztek with the same problem....key stuck in the ignition. I couldn't find a hole with a cap on it. Where is it?

I just push a pencil or pen through a hole located under the ignition on the steering column. There's no cap... but I have a 2001 Aztek.

Installing bullgod remote starter unit.

This will require a keyfob bypass. It has a transponder in the key that needs to be 5" or less away from the ignition. You may need to seek professional help.

Key Stuck in ythe ingnition

There is a hole under the steering column right near the ignition switch, if the key gets stuck, stick a pen or something in the hole, you will feel the little lever move and you can remove the key.
