Have you done a reset since you have changed the O2 sensor? If not then this is the part you have missed. After any repair or fix, you are required to reset the ECM(engine control management) by using a diagnostic equipment.Hope this helps.

Disconnecting the battery does not always reset the ECM, that is a myth and does not always work.Best solution is to have a diagnostic device attached to the vehicle. Pre 1997 vehicle uses obd1 and post 1997 uses obd2 technology. These are 2 different and you need the right one for your vehicle.

If there was any further errors picked up then it would have come up with a code. So I would suggest you do what I have explained and if there is no errors being picked up and you are still having an idling problem then come back to us and we will try to help. Idling problem is due to many reasons and it could be a dirty idle controller etc and etc.But once you do not have any error coming back and it still does not idle properly then let me know and I will advise you on the next step. For now, follow what I explained and see what happens.

I have not checked what does code p44 means and if an error is coming back then it means that the ECM has picked a problem and most probably not associated with the repair you have done.

1991 chevy c1500 stalling

Usually a problem with a dirty throttle body or a faulty idle air control valve. The computer controls idle speed by regulating how much air enters the intake thru the valve.

Where can i find the bank 1 oxygen sensor? on a 1999 chevy lumina .

If it is a 4 cylinder it will be on the exhaust manifold at the front, a V6 is also mounted at the front, but lower down. If you are getting an O2 sensor code, change the fuel filter first. O2 sensor seldom go bad.

My 1991 chevy lumina has no power when i put my foot into it and it's running rough like it wants to stall. Could this be the coil pack?

could be a few thing , have it put on a real time scanner, not a code reader, blue streak makes a good one, have someone monitor the engine activators and sensors, also hook up a furl pressure guage to monitor

Check for a stuck open EGR valve,it will have to be removed to be checked.Or you have a large vacuum leak, either one will increase idle and fuel causing hot cat and high idle.

It is one of 2 things fuel pump or Crank Shaft Position Sensor. Best bet would be the Crank Shaft Sensor, and what that does is tell the computer where the crank is and when to fire the right plug at the right time
