MY APOLOGY, NOT WATER/ AIR WHICH IS SOFTENING THE CLUTCH, NEED TO BLEED IT. DO YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF THE LOCATION FROM A MANUAL ?

  • Richard Scordino May 11, 2010

what do you mean you have water??? The bleed valve should either be on the slave cylinder or, if you have a combination slave/throwout bearing, it should be right near where the line goes into the bellhousing.

No photo, but if you follow the line from the master cylinder for the clutch down to the drivers side of the bellhousing, you will either find a slave unit with a bleed valve (looks like the one they use on brakes) or the line will go right into the bellhousing with another line with a valve on it coming back out right next to it.
Check the master for seepage into the passenger compartment at the firewall, check the line and check the slave cylinder for leaks. the only way air can get into the system is if something is leaking and permitting air to get in.

How bleed 1994 clutch slave unit

how , you mean step by step. (itty bitty)?
well it does so just like all cars.
the coax, (called consentric) has a bleed tap right next
the the fluid line as it enters the bell housing, did you even look yet.

is this the COAXIAL salve/throwout, same as the 93?
read the real FSM

https://www.techauthority.com/en-US/Pages/Home.aspx

why not post the symtoms, btw ive owned 3 jeeps with the coax,
yes, i hate them. had to pull tranny and transfere case or engine
to fix them.
read YJ, page clutch page
here
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

page 14 covers it.
it bleeds exactly like brakes. after all it uses brake like MC and slave.
so you do the exact same methods.
use the 2 man methods.
fill it up.
keep it full.
person one presses the pedal , you crank the bleed valve.
and air comes out, you close valve
pedal up
and repeat for no air,
test a book on brakes , it not changed for 100 years the 2 man method.
there are 5 methods, but the 2man is 100% free.
just a hose to catch the juice.

Where do you bleed the clutch at on a 1997 jeep wrangler what is the location of it

This all depends if this is a hydraulic clutch or if its cable operated, you can only bleed hydraulic clutches, to bleed it you would bleed at the ******, you will see the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder that operates the clutch fork.

Where do I bleed the brtakes on A 1992 WRANGLER

If it's a 5 speed, under the passenger side in front of the base plate, there is a small nipple looks like the one for bleeding breaks, it pokes out of the front bell of the transmission. Bleed it like breaks, have someone push on the clutch, and hold, you open and let out the air, close have them let up, repeat until air is out.

Looking for a diagram for a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that shows photos on how to find the bleeder screw on bleeding the clutch

You wont need a photo its super easy, but it is under the jeep follow the line from resivior to the clutch master cylinder (holds fluid) then the other end located on the trannsmission is the slave cylinder the bleeder is on it usually has a rubber cap on it! hope this helps. p.s. dont let the resivoir get empty it will leave air in the system and make bleeding almost impossible.

Where is the bleed valve for clutch on a 1991 jeep wrangler

1. Fill master cylinder reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid. Raise and support vehicle. Attach bleeder hose to bleeder screw on bleed line of slave cylinder. See Fig. 1 (attached in link) . Place other end of hose in glass container 1/2 full of brake fluid. Loosen bleeder screw while holding bleeder screw fitting.

2. Have an assistant depress clutch pedal to the floor. Tighten bleeder screw and release clutch pedal. Repeat bleeding procedure until fluid entering container is free of bubbles. DO NOT allow reservoir to run out of fluid during bleeding. Refill clutch master cylinder reservoir.

CAUTION: DO NOT allow bleed line to bend or flex when loosening
bleeder screw.
