The computer only knows the voltage across what it thinks is the MAS. A bad wiring connector and a bad MAS is all the same to the computer. I would change the harness to the MAS before I spent any time or money on any other problem solving.

2000 linclon ls with no codes sputters upon accleration

mass air flow sensor or the throttle body needs to be cleaned .first take the intake hose of the throttle body and spray the inside the the throttle body with throttle body spray. there is a pin hole under the flap or the butterfly that lets a little air in make sure that is allso cleaned out. let it sit and see if that fixes it. if not (MAS )sensor would be my next guess.

Clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner and make sure the air filter is not dirty or plugged. Also clean the mas air flow sensor with mass air flow sensor cleaner.Give this a try and let me know if it took care of your problems.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Re: 1993 Nissan King Cab 2.4 liter (Hitachi) A rhodent chewed up part of the air filter and constructed a "nest" of sorts in the fuel intake area. I cleaned the debris (air filter, leaves, grass) out,...

just past the air filter is your mass air flow sensor, I would pull that out and run a can of mass air flow sensor cleaner through it I'm betting that will clear it up. Hope this helps you.

Have 2005 kia spectum 2.4l had it serviced they left air filter out now I get code p0102 low voltage to air flow sensor clear code keeps coming back. what should i look for?

When they left the air filter out debris may have got into the MAF sensor(mas air flow). There is a fine screen inside the sensor housing that will heat up and measures how fast the screen is cooling to read the amount of air going to the throttle body. If debris got on this screen the sensor might have been damaged. You can try and disconnect the air intake piping and remove the MAF and see if you can clear out any debris with VERY LOW PRESSURE COMPRESSED AIR. Make sure to blow the opposite direction of the air flow. Do not touch anything internally on the MAF with your hands. You might want to use a straw and your own lungs to try and clear any debris. If that does not work the MAF might need to be replaced. I would definently return to the place that serviced the vehicle and have them fix it!

1993 chevy truck with a 350, it wont idle right, replaced ecm, tpi, idle control?

While I am not familiar with your trucks fuel system I'd check the fuel pressure and injectors. Often times fuel isses are less prevelent at higher RPMs then they are at idle.

Hope that might help,
