I have a 1999 3.8L Buick engine. The filler neck has a large o-ring and twists into place on the front top of the valve cover. The filler neck only needs about a half-turn to be in posiiton. It is keyed with pastic tabs on the neck so it only goes in one-way. Let me know fi this helps or you need more infromation.

Remove the oil filler neck, you can then lift up on the front of the cover, it interlocks with a rear mount, just lift up and pull out.

04 Buick Rendezvous over heated last night. I pipe-wrenched the rad-cap off to find no hole. just inches of brown mud. I assume it is engine rust. this car has never been flushed in 220,000 miles. do

Take it to a radiator specialist or dealer ASAP before you overheat the engine again and do some seriously expensive damage - at the very least you need a radiator flush.

99 buick century i cannot put gas down my filler neck it keeps over flowing and i know it is not full

The vent tube for the gas tank and filler neck is probably clogged or pinched shut. If you get under the car and look at the filler neck you should see a 2nd tube coming off of it, that is the vent tube.

Its either the oil filter, the oil cooler, or the rear of the intake manifold. . The oil cooler has a gasket and seals you can replace. Be sure to make sure where the leak is, before attepting to repair.;

FUEL FILLER NECK ON BUICK CENTURY NEEDS REPLACING. CHECK ENGIN LIGHT ON?

I am not sure I understand what you are asking but I will tell you that is you have a faulty fuel cap or a leaking fule filler neck, this can cause a check engine light to come on. I have seen people leave the fuel cap too loose and the light come on then Screw it tight and the light goes off. Hope this helps

I need to replace the evap purge solenoid. where is it?

Good Evening, It is a very good question, and it is not too far to find. Open your hood and look at your engine. Look at your oil filler cap and firmly grasp the neck and turn it counter clockwise and remove the neck and cap. Then remove the plastic cover that sits on top of the engine. Now that its out of the way look between the front valve cover and the black plastic intake, you will see it right there has a black plastic hose on it and a wire connector on the end. Best bet when in doubt have the replacement one in hand and match it up. I hope that helps it is the general vicinity within 3 inches or so. Any other questions please feel free to ask.
