Though your description is pretty vague, it may be a sway bar link. Look on the drivers side and see if you can find an identical part there to find where it came from and how it's attached. They can't just fall out, so likely the one that did is broken and you will need to get a new one.

Popping noise in front drivers side of 1998 chevy Z71 in reverse

Look at where the torsion bars go through the control arm and get someone to move the vehicle back and forth and see if they are moving. This is most likely. Let me know what you find.

How do you raise the front end up on a 2000 chevy silverado using the torsian bars

The torrsion bar is the front stabilizer bar. You need to jack it up using
that, then carefully place 2 jack stands, one to the right, and one to the
left end. Be very careful, when performing any jacking procedure.
Act as if the vehicle will fall,at anytime, and be ready, and safe. Good luck.

Front axle differential on 2000 chevy silverado leaking oil out of vent .the differential is not overfilled.

Your pickup leaks just like everyone elses. what you need to do is go down to your local parts store and get an inline fuel filter (your local chevy dealer should also have these available just for this problem), preferably see thru then, where your vent runs up the inner fender cut the line about 4 inches down from the vent and install the filter. this will cure your problem

Power steering and brake line location2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

the power steering lines are very short hoses approximately 8 inches long that go from the power steering pump down to the steering box, which is located on the frame, just below the pump. The brake lines run from the master cylinder(where you fill it with fluid on the drivers side firewall) down to the frame, and then follow the frame both directions; both to the front end and the rear end, along the drivers side frame rail, just on the inside of it. The fuel line runs along the same path to the rear.

Power window on my 2000 chevy silverado z71 won't go up

I also had the same problem on my 2000 Silverado 1500 Z71....on both doors!!! I found the best solution (even though I didn't have the money) was to get it fixed by a good mechanic who wouldn't screw up anything else in the process. Passenger side went first...then a year later, drivers side fell half way down. He researched the solution on his own...found out you have to buy the whole window motor assembly. After labor....300 bucks each window...OUCH!!! Bought my truck new in 2000. Window problem happened in 2006 then in 2007.
