Question about Cars & Trucks
Have a roaring noise when i start my van
Posted by Anonymous on
Check your fan. If it is a clutch type (has an aluminum clutch mechanism behind fan) it may be stuck in the engaged position (it's supposed to freewheel when the engine is cold) If it is internally binding, you cannot fix it. Just replace it.
If the fan is OK, you will need to look at everything and locate the source of the noise or have a good shop look for you. There is no such thing as a good noise, so have it taken care of asap!
