If you have spark and fuel and it is on time it should run if the compression is high enough was this car flooded really bad if so make sure your oil is OK the do a compression check dry and wet you may find when you you do your wet test that it brings the compression up enough to git the car started that would mean that your cylinders were washed out with gas causing the compression to go down

Why and what must I do. Spark plugs are wet of petrol. Mechanics take me for a ride every time.

Could be many things, but start with the basics. Use fuel pressure test gauge to check for leak down after shutting engine off. Could be leaky injectors. Could also be weak spark preventing fuel from complete burn--bad coil or ignition module. More likely bad coolant temp sensor making ECU think engine is still cold after it is warmed up. Another possibility is clogged exhaust.

1995 camry cranks but no start.all the fuses are good.fuel pump gives running sound when i turn the key to start position.battery is good because it cranks the engine well. distributor coil is producing...

check that the injectors are spraying because that is the only other thing that is missing from the compression -spark -fuel triangle that is needed to make an engine go.

Cylinders filling with gas

all cylinders? (a key question, if ever)
no year? wow.
a Daewoo Lacetti , actual in snakes clothing .
or one injector (by what test? my shoe drops....) there are 5 tests.
keep car outside, it too dangerous to be near people or homes.

on any MPI engine, if any injector sticks on, key on.?
we do a NOID lamp test on it.
pass or fail>? ever seen a noid?
http://www.fixkick.com/INJECTORS/injectors.html#NOID

but if it's only wet spark plugs and not NOID fail.'
then that is called only FLOODING.
and all that takes is lost spark. or compression loss.

fresh spark plugs.
full 60,000 mile tune up>? done. ???
which engine?
1.4 L I4 (petrol)
1.6 L I4 (petrol)
1.8 L I4 (petrol)
2.0 L I4 (petrol)
2.0 L I4 (diesel) You said gas. so its not this.

we cant fix engines, until the hood opens and the mech. looks
in the USA the engine code is in the VIN.

1994 another Toyota Camry won't start.

Sounds like a timing chain , worst case, Would you say it's turning over almost too freely?? Look under your cap, and turn motor over, the rotor shouldn't turn if the timing chain is gone, but may turn if it jumped it's timing. Then you'll have to have a look under the timing cover . let me know if this helps

1994 camry won't start after cleaning under the hood check dist. cap replaced spark plugs sounds like its going to start then doesn't.

Sounds like wet or moist spark plug wires. If this also occurs during early morning high dew point humid air, then you may have spark plug wires shorting out.

Replace wires.

ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT WILL NOT START WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE

Is there a check engine light?

Sensors. Use a code reader of a jumper to read codes from your check engine light. Here's some help.
http://www.2carpros.com/kpages/first_things.htm

No check engine light.

Fuel pump or fuel filter. Try to start it, then pull a spark plug and see if you have gas on the plug or just the smell of gas. If you do it probably OK. If you don't, a new fuel filter, then a pump.

Ignition coil, Igniter or Distributor. Pull a spark plug and plug it back into it's spark plug wire. Turn over the motor and see if there's spark. You might need a helper or do it at night. There should be a small blue spark in the spark plug gap. Don't touch it. No spark...bad.
A lot of Toyotas use the same igniter so they are cheap at the junk yard and easy to fix.
Some distributors have the coil in them, some are do not. Check the external coil for spark. If there is none replace it. There are tests that can be made, but you need a book for that. A 1994 Camry probably has miles on it ,so anything you replace is good for an old car. Just don't buy from the dealer. You can get deals on line or at a junk yard.

Spark flooded with petrol

You need to test each injector plug with a injector noid light.Have someone crank the engine while you observe the light. It should flash off and on at a steady pace.Test each one to make sure you have steady injector pulse,if they all test ok then you should not have a fuel delivery problem. Also if your spark plugs are wet or black they are fouled and you will need a new set.
