The brake lights on my 2001 mitsubishi eclipse GT won't work

The brake lights on my 2001 mitsubishi eclipse GT stopped working. I have tried everything from replacing the bulbs to checking the switch down by the pedal. Has anyone ever had this problem? It's not fun to drive with no brake lights.

2001 mitsubishi eclipes spyder replaced brake light bulb but still does not work

Did you check the socket and wires immediately nearby? I assume it is isolated to just one bulb. If not, check brake light switch behind pedal and fuse. Also, switch bulbs around just in case.

I havea 2001 mitsubishi eclipse gt and the battery and brake light will not go off. The battery is brand new and brake fluid is full. What could it be?

Bad recharge tension, must see with voltmeter by battery, mostlikely bad alternator bridge/brushes.Rare:alternator belt slip, can be asociated with motor over heating (because of the water pump shared belt).Brake light must track the problem, can be stucked float on the pump oil cap, worn brake pads (if it have the sensor, easily identify by wire near the pads),bad hand brake switch.

GT. What caused TCL and anti-lock warning light to come on?

It means the traction control is not working. It's usually because a wheel speed sensor is bad. Your ABS brakes are also not working well. You should go to the dealer where they can scan the vehicle with their Mutt II factory scan tool. That will take the guess work out of which wheel speed sensor is bad or failing intermittently.

I have a Mitsubishi eclipse '03 my brake & battery

You would need to check the wiring and fuses to see if anything is blown or melted. The warning light is for both hydraulic brakes and the charging system.
In your case the light probably came on because the alternator stopped charging the battery.

IF THE TURN SIGNALS STILL WORK IN THE FRONT, THAT MEANS THE FUSE & THE FLASHER ARE OK. IF THE SIGNALS DON'T WORK AT ALL CHECK TURN SIGNAL FUSE & STOP / BRAKE FUSE. ARE YOU SURE THE CORRECT BULBS ARE BEING USED?

Air & Fuel Filter check, Check the gap on your spark plugs. Heat makes metal contract and the cold makes it expand
