the fuse is #110, it is in the power distribution box under the hood, it also runs the moon roof, so if the moon roof works the fuse is good, if this is the case the heated seat switch is the likely cause and by far the most common..

You may try cleaning the filters and checking for loose connections. Heat and cooling filters should be changed or cleaned with some regularity. Like an air conditioner, these things require maintenance that are often overlooked.

The most common cause of this problem is that the drivers seat heater grid is open or burned out. That is based on 25 years as a Ford dealer technician.

Where are relays for heated seats in 2004 monte carlo ss

Hi jkelley, I'm glad to help!

Usually in most cases when the heated seats quit working its the heated seat element that you sit on under the padding. Here's what I want you to do: Turn the key on then push the heated seat on button and see if it lights up. This is a quick test but not always an accurate test because the switch could still be working but the LED Light could be bad. BUT, in most cases this is a good test. If it lights up then its safe to say that its mostly likely the ELEMENT that's bad. Most of the time if you'll raise the seat cover you'll see that the element is burnt. Hope this helps and have an awesome day.

Saturn relay 2005 heated seat fix

I don't know the history of your problem but I notice the reference to the relay. Heated seats often have problems and it can be things other than the relay. Heated seats work very similar to an electric blanket and just the same they often simply burn out...in most cases it is easy for a good tech with a simple multimeter to determine whether this has happened. The relay can be tested by verifying that it has constant power at one terminal possibly with the key on...if it has that then the fuse is good. this type of relay is usually supplied with a second power lead for relay control that is only powered with the key on. When the switch is depressed it usually will give you a ground at the relay which activates it and allows power to go through the heated seat element. All that is needed is a simple test light. Most relays have a nice diagram on the side to identify the terminals and what they are. A relay simply uses a low current circuit (switch side) to control a high current circuit ( load side). On the relay illustration it will show you a small coil which magnetizes when the switch sends current through it and pulls the switch for the load side closed. Most of the time the wires for the control side are much smaller than the load side. I hope this helps!

2005 Honda Pilot passenger heated seat does not work. Fuses are ok.

If fuse #3 20amp in the passanger under-dash box is good.
Check and see if the orange light for the high and low setting come on when you switch between high and low.
if light doesn't come on, the switch itself might be bad.
if light turn on for both setting then, it's a high chance it's the heat pads located under the seat cover need to be replace.

2005 Buick LeSabre heated seat not working

The heated seats have relays that run them. Not quite sure where they are located but. That noise is the relay clicking on and off. They are actually pretty loud. Look for faulty connections to and from the relay and check battery power to both sides of the relay.
