Question about 2004 Hyundai XG350
How many miles were on it when you got it? it could be the throttle position sensor. go to an auto parts store like autozone or advanced auto parts and have them run a scanner , no cost , to see if there is a code to verify this. if this helps please reply as this helps me answer your questions here and good luck
