The fuel filter in 2004 Kia Rio is located back on the driver side by the rear wheel. You can clearly identify it as it is a black cylinder with three hoses going on it. May look like this - http://www.racepages.com/images/products/thumbs/fram/AHG8534.jpg Hope that helps Shannonwood1!
Look under the car, its just below the back drivers side door, you will
see the filter there, its black if its factory and it has three hoses
coming off it, basically, find ur gas tank and work ur way to the front
of the car following the lines and you will find the filter. Right by
the tire more or less. Cant miss it really...
