Window goes down on the passenger side of the car but won't go back up i have a 2004 mercury grand marquis

It won't go up using any switch ,drivers switch or that doors switch ? You have to do a process of elimination to find the problem ,test the electrical part of the windows first . Take the inside door panel off an check with a test light or a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter at the motor , is there B+ voltage going to the motor on the up side of the circuit ? Go on youtube an check out videos on testing power window circuit . Automotive Repair Power Window Troubleshooting

Honda accord window goes up crooked

Do you hear alot of rattling when driving from the window? what about if that window is only rolled down half way?rattling more than any other window? The rubbers that hold the window in place may be worn allowing the window to move around in the space between the door. You should get it looked at by a mechanic before it completely falls into the frame of the door

My drivers side window won't stay on the track when I lower it. It.s NOT powered. Is there something inside that I can't see keeping me from getting this done?

are you talking about the window going crooked when lowering it if so then there is a clip that mounts to the side of the window that keeps it in the track so it won`t do this.they sometimes break and you can buy the part and install it just be careful when installing so the window won`t break.if its the track at the lower edge of the window this is a pressure/glue type fit and the track will need to be cleaned, pushed together a bit and use a window glue and install the window into the track and let it sit for a couple of hours before trying it.

Winow goes down won't go back up. swith is

There is no type of sensor in that system, however the problem could be a broken wire inside of the weather boot that runs between the door and the body of the vehicle. (The broken wire(s) will most likely be inside of the driver side door weather boot, but it could also be inside of the weather boot on the door that has the window problem)

If the window does go part of the way back up then most likely the window regulator assembly or the drive gear between the regulator assembly and the power window motor is damaged, and the door panel will have to be removed to inspect for the actual problem.

Here is a wiring diagram of a typical power window circuit for that year and vehicle to help assist you.

My power window driver side started going crooked and sounded like it cracked. I stopped and pulled it out. It's fine. How do I put it back in?jDo I have to take door apart?

Yes the inside door panel will need to come off, your window rail guide has come off and a part may need to be replaced, if you are lucky it may go back together Ok.
Door handles, pull handles, and several other areas have screws, the rest is held on with plastic tabs underneath, they will pop with a fat flat bladed screwdriver.

the regulator assembly or even one of the tabs on the window that attaches to the regulator has broken. it can be a self repoair but if the glass broke then let the glass company do it.

usually it is a wiring issue i would start by checking the wires that run between the door and body of the vehicle. they always break inside that black rubber boot. and the way jeep wires the doors, everything goes though the drivers door switch even the power that feeds the other doors

Stuck up or down? Or, does it look "crooked" in the frame?
