If the # on the bulb is like 9005 or 9006 .back behind the head lamp assembly ,there are wires leading to the bulb housing ,with your fingers turn the bulb counter clock -wise ,now with the new bulb 'do not touch 'the new bulb with any part of your fingers only on the plastic part ,unsnap the old bulb a re install the new bulb, when placing it back in to the housing line it up with the grooves and turn.remember "righty tighty - lefty loosey, be very careful ,and do not turn lites on until you are away from bulb housing .

I'm not seeing any model or year, so we'll go to basics. I would start by pulling the light socket completely out of the housing, inspect wires going into it on back side, and cut them back to a good clean looking spot but not too short that it won't reach back to housing, and replace the entire socket, then try a good bulb. Wires and/or contacts are likely melted together in there and should be changed before digging deeper in to the problem that started right there. It may be all you have to do.

Left side head light was out, so i changed the bulb, but it's still not working. what should i do.

I would check the fuses under the hood for the left head light to see if it is blown. If not try switching the right headlight relay to the left one and see if the problem switches to the othere side. If it does switch to the other side get a new relay and put it in the side that isn't working.

How do I change the left running light on a 2005 Cadi SRX?

Hi there,
Open the hood and look behind the head lamps, there should be a wire or two going into a unit that is connected to the head lamp. You should be able to reach in there and you will probable have to turn the unit left or right and pull it out. Your light buld will be connected to it. Take the bulb to a local parts store and they will match it. The same is for all the lights. Hope this help you out. Let me know. Have a great night.~MWD
