You need to either get the manifold welded or buy a new one. this is a common problem with jeeps, it happened to mine. they sell aftermarket manifolds that have been redesigned so they dont break

Unless you are a "good" welder you are going to buy a new manifold. If youu are a good welder you should take off the manifold and heat it in an oven to approx 300 degrees and then weld it with stainless rod and let it all cool naturally. My suggestion would be to buy a new one.

I have replaced my exhaust manafold 3 times it keeps cracking in the same place on the same manafold and no one seems to know why can you please help?

Is the engine pipe secured at the gearbox with a good bracket to take the load off the manifold check that the exhaust is clear and not blocked at cadlic convertor, check that the manifold is not getting red hot after a good run.

Hi, my golf mk1 1.6 1995 model makes a tapping sound when i drive it but it stops when i idle

Sounds like to me a small exhust leak either
a exhust manafold gasket or exhust flange
gasket or cracked exhust manifold.
Anything else would be enteral meaning
valves need to be set, bad lifter, bad rod bearing,
bad oil pump, or timing chain tensioner,
BUT I would be willing to put my money
on an exhust leak or timing chain tensioner
it's one of the 2

I have a 98 gmc 1500 i am removing the intake manafold but when u pop off the throdly body their are wires under how do you remove them because i cant get the manafold off

Those "wires" are actually your injectors, dont pull them out, just pull the plastic manifold up over the injector tubes and you have access that way, because the plasic part of the manifold just slips over the the big plug for your injectors, hope this helps :)

My 1988 jeep cherokee has a cracked exhaust manafold is it bad to drive it???

The problem you describe is an inherent design flaw of the manifold and commonly cracks on most vehicles over time. As long as the crack is not in an area where exhaust gases can damage wires or other items it can be ok to drive although it technically can cause vehicles to fail state inspection in most states

My thermacter is bad

Part of the air filter system that uses hot air from the exhaust manifold to warm up inlet air during cold weather operations. It is actuated by a vacuum hose connected to the intake manifold by a check valve that goes to a small actuator valve in the intake snorkle of the air filter container. Make sure the vacuum check valve is in series.
