Question about 2002 Mercury Sable

1 Answer

Where can I find the heater hose diagram for a 2002 mercury sable gs?I have been having so many problems with my water leaking everything keeps messing up. In the last 1 1/2 years my cooling system has falling apart. First the water tank exploded all over my motor (I have rusty looking stuff all over under my hood), then the metal heater hoses behind the motor broke. I had it rerouted with rubber hose (when the guy rerouted the hose he didn't go all the way to the other side of the motor he just cut it off where it broke). Then I had to replace the thermostat, then the water pump went out. The metal hose that was not replaced the first time broke, I had someone reroute the remaining metal hose behind my motor. Well I noticed that both hoses coming out of my firewall is connected in to two "T" connectors. So they are on the same line.I don't think something is hooked up right. I bought the Chilton CD ROM for my car but it does not show me what I need. Can someone help me please

2003 mercury sable blows cool air when heater is turned on.

Most likely it is a clogged heater core. Have your heater core reverse flushed or your blend door is stuck open.

Heater not working on 2002 mercury sable gs

first check the fuse to the blower motor. if good then it may be the blower motor may be bad it is under the dash on the passenger side. If that is good then it may be your heater core

Where is the fuse for the heater located?

Ok, there is going to be a box underneath the hood of your car. It is usually on the drivers side. You will be able to open this box and there should be a diagram on which fuse is the heater. Be sure to take off the battery terminals before switching these fuses out (just in case).

Heater is not warming in my 2002 Mercury Sable, is there a fuse for this?

first check to make shure your thermastat is opening, sometimes they do stick, then check the hoses going into the fire-wall from the engine, one of them should be warmer than the other, thats the hot water from the engine going through your heater core, witch is a little radiator.there arent any fuses that i'm awear of. good luck

My a/c fan does not turn off, even when I have the heat on in my 2000 mercury sable. I wasn't getting any heat so I replaced the thermostat and I only get very little heat and saw that the a/c fan kept...

the fan is sopposed to cycle on and off its to keep the car cool your problem ti your heater core is plugged up and very restrictive. just pull the hoses off of it on the fire wall and hook up a garden hose to one side by cutting the end off and clamping the hose to the heater core, then turn the water on untill clean water with good flow comes out of the other hose bung, then switch sides and run the water the same way then hook everything back up and top off your coolant leval and check to c if all is well

No heat/99 mercury sable

its not a fuse if the blower motor works , you have a clogged or bad thermastat, bad water pump or your radiator heater core is clogged
