Thats pretty much it thge big important step is to disconnect the negative battery terminal first the starter connection is hot and the car is ground you dont want to bump metal with that connection unles power is removed and your car is pretty new you might need to plug a power saver in not too erase the ECU while the battery is disconected there about 12 bucks at a parts store double check your model might not need it
