It sounds like the starter drive is broke. You will have to remove the starter. If you have never done it, it takes jacks to get that far under the car and a good socket set. You need to disconnect the battery and be prepared to disconnect wires under the car. The dangerous part is turning the wheel to make room to drop the starter out.
You can get the starter tested once it is out, If the starter spins the broken part can be replaced but you would have to disassemble the starter. A new or rebuilt starter would have that part included.
You will have to have it towed in if you do not want to work on it. Its about an 1 1/2 hour job in a shop. Good Luck

The starter SOLENOID is on the starter motor. The starter RELAY is located on the left fender apron just behind the battery. (The positive (+) battery cable connects to it)
