You have to drop the fuel tank to replace it. best to do when the tank is almost empty. if you still have fuel in it you can buy a device to pump out the fuel from the fill tube then drop the skid plate, metal straps and it will come down. use a large floor jack with some wood to help lower it down and put back up.

First thing to try would be different fuel. Use a fuel stabilizer and fill with good gas. see if that helps. Also, check the fuel pressure.

Our ford bronco will not run new fuel relay, fuel punp works, new spark plugs, new filters, changed oil, we have spark, and compresion no fuel

Check to see if you have a Throttle Position Sensor. This would be on the Airhorn and works with the throttle butterfly. It is about the size of a butane lighter and has 1 electric connector and 2 screws.

This part sets the spark and fuel for the throttle position.

Ford bronco 1990 sputters at 3rpm

It sounds as if you have a fuel system problem or either the exhaust may be stopped up. Have the fuel pressure checked it should be at or near 30-35 lbs if not you may need to replace the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump. Both are common on parts to fail.

I have a 1990 Ford Bronco II that will crank, but will not start. It was running fine yesterday, but today will not start.

spray starting fluid in the intake. if it starts it's fuel problem, if it does not it's electrical. could be bad fuel pump or crank sensor
