  1. There are 2 ways to reset the air suspension..The first one is to remove the access plastic panel located on the drivers side in the very back of the vehicle After you remove the panel you will find a rocker switch marked on/off.Turn it off wait about 30 seconds then turn it back on.It is also very important to turn this switch off before raising or using a jack to lift the vehicle off the ground. You can also hit the reset button on the dashboard when the Air suspension is illuminated on the readout of the system check.

AIR COIL SPRINGS WILL DEFLATE AND BE DAMAGED IF YOU DID NOT TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM BEFORE RAISING VECHICLE AND CHANGE TIRES IF YOU DONT TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION IT WILL CAUSE AIR SPRINGS TO OVER INFLATE CAUSE AIR SPRING SPRING DAMAGE.

the leveling sensor is probably bad, but you could try resetting the suspension system, there is a switch on the side wall up behind the glove box. It's a rocker switch.

2004 Lincoln nave, rear wheels jacked up high, front wheels normal, rides real rough??? any thoughts???? Thanks,

Replace the air suspension with conventional shock/strut
conversions. The Air Ride System is not worth investing
time and money ,after the vehicle is 5 years old.
Too expensive to maintain ,and too difficult to diagnose

Next time buy the Ford version of the vehicle

AIR SUSPENSION NOT RISING

Under the hood there is an air compressor to fill the air bags on the suspension. With age the compressor draws excessive amps and blows the fuse. Check the fuse and see if it has popped. If so replace it. If the fuse is good ,locate the compressor and check the electrical plug to it to see if it has become corroded. If corroded pull the fuse and scrub the contacts with a brass brush untill clean. To keep it from corroding in the future apply some dieletric grease to the contacts and plug it back in. hope that helps, Rich.

Hopefully just needs to be reset, those air susp r expensive. Some susp come with a switch to turn on and off could be on the left or right rear back look for it turn off then on if that does not work, disconnect p bat terminal for 5 min then reconnect. Listen for suspension should make some noise.
