May I ask what part of the engine you are working on. If you are doing a complete rebuild I would get a repair manual from your local auto parts store. If it is just say the heads that you need to torque that is fine I can help. Just need a little more info first.

Please get back to me with more info before you rate. I am willing to help.

there are 2 different 1.9 engines, so for future ref, you need the 8th digit of the VIN number. use NEW bolts. torque to 22 ft lbs. then turn 90 degrees, then another 90 degrees.

How to change head light lamp on a Saturn S-Series SC2

    Hello,
Purchase the replacement light you need from an auto parts store. Give them the year and particular Saturn S Series model number to acquire the right part. Also indicate whether you need the high or low beam light bulb, as some S Series models require separate bulbs.
  • Turn off the engine. Pop the hood and secure it open. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery by grasping the cable and pulling it straight off of the positive and negative battery terminals.

  • Position yourself in front of the headlight you wish to repair. Look behind the headlight assembly to find the wiring harness for the headlight assembly. Lift the locking tab, grab the wiring harness and pull the wiring directly away from the assembly.

  • Grab the old headlight bulb, twist it counterclockwise and pull it out of the headlight assembly. Replace it with a new bulb and secure it by turning it clockwise.

  • Reconnect the wiring harness to the headlight assembly and reconnect the battery cables. Test the lights to see if they work properly.

  • Thanks
