Question about 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix
I myself have a 98' Grand Prix. I had the same problem with it not starting, and the key no coming out of the ignition. If the car clicks when you try to start it, it could be an igniton switch because that's what my problem was. But, double check all of the fuses inside of the car, and under the hood.
As for the key not coming out of the ignition. Underneath your ignition on the bottom of the steering column cover, there will be a small hole. Take your finger, and bend it back through that hole towards the ignition, and you should feel a button. Push this button up, and the ignition should release.
As for the vehicle not coming out of park, I honestly don't really know. I hope some of this information helped.
