Question about 1996 Ford F150 Regular Cab
Sounds like the compressor is beginning to lock up (with engine OFF)remove the belt off the pulley on the compressor, then switch on the ignition and turn on the A/C switch so the pulley is engaged then turn the pulley by hand and see how tight it turns, there should be some drag, but not so much as not to be able to turn it w/o force
