Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Thanks for using FixYa. You’ll need to programme the key. To programme it, close all the doors and put the key in the ignition. Now press and hold the unlock button on the door. While holding the unlock button, turn the key on, off, on, off then release the unlock button. The locks should cycle to confirm it is in the learn mode. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the fob. After 15 to 20 second the locks will turn on and off to confirm program of the fob. You’ll need to repeat this procedure up to four times. After program, turn the key to run then off to exit learn mode. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
