You can try lucas trasmssion fix.

check the level of the transmission fluid while the engine is running.
also has the transmission been "flushed"? a lot of shops just use
dextron atf with the additives supplied by the supplier of the flushing machine.
this can cause problems in toyotas.
replacing the fluid with the correct (T IV) transmission fluid
may help.
but if you are having this much trouble it may be too late.

I suggest you have a transmission shop take a close look at your vehicle. That year accord with a v6 and automatic transmission had a recall for the transmission and your problem seems to be a slowly dying tranny.

sounds like your tranny neeeds flushed, everything in that auto tranny is moved by the transmission itself, there are electronic valves that open and close to make things move but all they do is allow high pressure tranny fluid to push other things around. there is a lot going on in there, usually when the fluid gets bad or low or old the first thing is the govenor of the transmission will start acting up. check the level and the color. besure to read how to check the level, some times you have to have a warm tranny and running. other times not. also the color should be almost a clear pink, if its red or worse a dark red, get it flushed

The 1999-2003 Lexus RX300 models have a common failure of the engine computer that causes the harsh shifting of the transmission. You need to get the computer (ECM - Engine Control Module) rebuilt or replaced before it causes permanent damage to the transmission. Even if the transmission is already ruined, the ECM will still need to be repaired. Most often, the transmission is fine though, and rebuilding the ECM will restore the smooth shifts that the Lexus should have. You need to have the transmission serviced as this will most likely be the problem. At least have the code read from the computer and see what it is so you have an idea of what is wrong.

Cheapest thing to try is a fluid flush and filter change. Unfortunately, if that does not work, then next bet is probably a rebuild.
