Question about 2004 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible
Dont freak out!!! i understand your worry on a new purchase. i freak at every little noise when i first purchase a vehicle and i have been doing this over 25 years. if your car is running, just take it to Autozone, and have them hook it on thier code retriever tool. this will tell you exactly what is wrong, and how much the part is. best thing is that they do it ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE!!!! with todays technology, most engines operate on a variety of sensors that can go bad and trigger that light to come on....and most of those parts can be installed in less than 15 mins and under 50 bucks.
Just remember...volkswagons are almost indestructable, mechanically, and with proper care, will be running looooong after youve decided to art with it.
Just remain calm my friend....fear is what feeds some unscrupulous mechanics.
