2001 pontiac grand am gt won't start. Cranks normally but no start. Backfired also after a few tries. Fuel pump turns on so I Replaced fuel filter but it still won't start.

The backfire means that it is a timing issue. The problem is most likely the crank shaft sensor. It tells the computer when the engine pistons are in position to fire.

No voltage on crank sensor grand am 2001 2.4

The crank and cam sensors produce ac voltage that is sent to the computer. There are magnets or components on the crank and cam that the sensors "read".
The problem could be the harness between the sensors and the computer, or a mechanical problem like a timing chain or gear.

I sold a 2001 Grand Prix 3.1 and the person who bought is having trouble turning it on. It feels like its stalling and will not start now

It could be the idle sensor or crank-shaft position sensor. Take to autozone and have the computer scanned, and if it shows a code they can help you find the part.

I cant locate the crank sensor on my 1996 pontiac grand am. Please help

On most cars it is located right behind the crank shaft pulley. Inorder to get to it, you must take off the crank shaft pulley. Good luck.

2001 pontiac grand am se 2.4.car cranks ,but will not start.

The cam sensor is in the head near the throttle cables. The crank sensor is in the block near the oil filter. There aren't any sensors behind the balancer. If it is a problem with the security system the security light will be blinking. Does the vehicle start and die or just not crank or crank but not fire?
