Wheres the slave cylinder located at? wen i press my pedal it stays at the floor.what could that be?

Hello Herman, I assume that you are referring to the clutch slave cylinder. Did you check the fluid in the clutch master cylinder? Fill the master cylinder and try it a few times. If it works better but not good enough, you may need to bleed the clutch system. The slave cylinder should bleed at or near the front on the side of the transmission.

Clutch fluid is spraying out wen I press clutch on my 2005 sunfire

Nice pic!
  • the clutch master cylinder has failed and needs to be replaced or rebuilt (renew the seals inside) or
  • the pipe between the master and slave cylinder has developed a leak and needs to be replaced.
Good luck

The clutch slave cylinder is at the throwout bearing. Inside the transmission makes no sense

Location of the clutch slave cylinder in pontiac sunfire 2003

The slave cylinder is what moves the clutch fork inside the bell housing. It would be mounted just inside or outside of the bell housing at the flywheel.

Clutch pedal stays on the floor and fluid running out of bell housing

The slave cylinder is leaking. The transmission needs to be removed to replace this.
Sorry I don't have anything to say that you wanted to hear but at least you know where your at.

My 1999 pontiac keeps breaking the clutch master cylinder it wont keep the pressure. as soon as u hit the clutch u hear a pierce noise and open it up. and the mastercylinder is destroyed

try replacing both master and slave cylinders at the same time. when both are removed apply brake cleaner and shop air to high pressure line running between master and slave cylinders to clear any possible cloggs. If it happens again remove your transmission and inspect clutch, bearing and linkage in bell housing for broken/binding parts.
