Just a comment, hope you dont mind.....
although i cannot say what to do i have spoken to my auto electrician friend and he said that a competant "car sparks"will use a tester on each unit to ascertain the exact fault(no power)re you cruise problem.so minimising the cost involved.he said each unit is powered up by the preceding switch and that it would be highly unlikely to be the ecu.(solid state electrics?)

Very carefully!! these have a "heat sync" in them around the perimeter of the computer. I really dont recommend doing it yourself unless you have done it before as these computers are VERY expensive to purchase new and all it takes is one small slip of the screwdriver and you now have an expensive paper weight. What seems to be the problem you are having? i run an automotive electronic rebuilding company and will be happy to fix yours up at a very reasonable cost if you dont want to risk damaging it yourself.

Vehicle stalled on road-towed in-timing belt had missing teeth-fuel pump had no power--replaced belt-have good compresion-still have no power at fuel pump connector and no spark

Hi,
Sounds like ECU problem.
First, check your fuse box if there are some blown fuse and replace it. If there are no blown fuse the problem would be the ecu computer.
The best advise would be to bring the car to your nearest dealer and have their computer analyzer check your ecu. Thus you will have save time and money from guessing the problem of ignition and power supply of the fuel pump.
Hope tat helps you out!

My 2000 1.6 ford focus hesitates when driving from a standing start

Is this when the engine's cold? check the auto choke

when it's warm -air ingress to inlet manifold - listen for air noise - you will also notice that it will hesitate when you accelerate
also check if servo vacuum is affecting the engine speed - when idling pump brakes if it is this then speed increases
Air intake sensor unit Now you need to get a garage to plug into the ECU [car computer]

How much does it cost to fix cruise control on a 2003 chevy monte carlo ss?

this depends on whats wrong with the cruise control if its just a fuse then it will be relatively cheap if its the servo itll be a little more expensive but not extremely outrageous should be around $100 or less give a take a few dollars.

Citroen xantia fuel pump relay

If the pressure is up the pump will not cut in anyway! slacken off a fuel line to the injectors a little and drain a few cc of fuel out (it will evaporate fast) then try again, if the pump runs for a couple of seconds then look at the spark, if it doesnot the relay is above the fuses.

Turn the fresh air/ recycled air switch on and off and see if it goes away. Most likely it's that controller.

Cruise Control

My Answer:

I've only seen Cruise Controls have 1 or possibly 2 wiring problems by design.

Usually the Cruise Control Servo Unit itself if pretty darn dependable, and will outlast most everything else on the SUV/car.

The most common problem is usually a BAD GROUND wire at the CC Servo Unit itself, which is located under the hood and usually where it's mounted off to the drivers side at or near the engine firewall, or else up front nearest the battery box.

The other wiring problem might be a bad connector or dirty connection point from where the wiring harness is run into and under the steering column. That connector can be seen from under the dash area and checked pretty easily with a DVM for proper function.

With either an automatic transmission or clutch driven model there is one other "safety disengage switch" located on either the clutch pedal or else the brake pedal, and this switch (if it's not positioned properly, or defective - as in OPEN) will kill the +12-volt battery POWER going to the CC Servo Unit itself. The CC light may be ON, but there still won't be any battery power to the CC Servo Unit, causing it not to set.

On all newer generation CC units the vehicle "angle" or attitude sensor, and drive shaft VCO pickup sensor design were dropped, and instead the monitored engine speed is now taken directly from the engine's Black Box computer and used as the VCO reference. If this VCO signal is missing then the CC Servo Unit will not engage as well.

If the CC Servo Unit uses a vacuum line feed you'll need to check that as well to make sure the hose is intact and it's making a good snug connection.

If all these points show to be good - then the CC Servo Unit itself is bad and needs to be replaced. Make sure you troubleshoot everything else above first as the CC Servo Unit is no doubt pretty pricey in cost, and may not be bad at all.

Hope this solves your problem.
