98 passat horn won't honk

My 98 passat horn won't honk all of the sudden. I don't have an owners manual so I'm not to sure if its a fuse problem or something way bigger.

Where do I find the fuse for the horn on the Mitsubishi Montero sport. Which fuse is it my horn keeps going off and I had to disconnect my battery. Need help please.

Not sure exactly, but in you owners manual, usually in the glove box. There should be a diagram of the fuse box and fuses. You can pull the fuse to maybe solve your problem. But you will not have a horn and removing a fuse is not a correct repair for why your horn started honking in the first place. Hope this helps solve your problem. Good luck.

Cant find out which fuse goes where my horn doesnt work and i dont have a owners manual and it doesnt say on the fuse box

You apparently don't read your question either

You don't even have a vehicle listed

If you do have a blown fuse, then what?
Replacing it won't fix your horn

Buy an owners manual for all your vehicles
so you can find fuses & bulbs

I have a 98 Nissan altima gxe and my alarm won't honk when I lock the car but the lights go off when I lock it and Wen I take the alarm off no honk or lights go off Wat can I do

holdboth the lock and unlosk buttons on your remote simultaneously for about five seconds until the lights flash and horn chirps.that should do it.if not i believe these models used a separate horn for security system.possibly fuse for this horn is bad or the horn itself is bad.to see if this horn works lower drivers window.stand outside vehicle and lock doors with remote.wait about a minute and reach in window and MANUALLY unlock and open door(do not use power door lock button)this should cause the system to activate...horn should beep and headlamps should flash.if horn beeps try my first suggestion.if it doesnt beep and just the head lamps flash check fuses and horn for security system.

Where is the horn located on a 98 saturn sl1 and the relay itself

open the hood, look straight down and you will see it in front of and to the right of the radiator, beneath the driver side head light assembly. Save your self some time, pull the two wire plug connector off and jump the horn directly to the battery with a jumper wire made from an old extension cord. If the horn honks, it is good, if not, go get a replacement at a junkyard and replace the it. Look in your owners manual for fuse panel locations, there is a small one under the hood and a larger one to the left of your passenger's knee under a velcro panel. The horn relay will be plugged into one or the other.

Mw horn decided to be quite all of a sudden after using it fir thirty seconds

Sounds like a rely or fuse, check you manual for the fuse box location and then check the fuse for the horn. If the fuse is good, check for votage with a voltage meter at the horn when you have someone else honking it and see if you are getting 12 volt to the horn itself. If you are getting voltage then the horn itself is bad. Sometime just tapping the horn can make it start working again.

My horn used to honk when I locked my 1999 Jeep with the remote

If you have your owner's manual, there is a section that will tell you the exact sequence to press to enable/disable the horn bonk. It has three settings, chirp, honk, and off. The chirp is a really quick chirp of the horn. Honk is a longer honk. Off seems to be what you've set.

I hope this helps.
