I recently just changed the air compressor on my car and the car is running but recently that message came on. Could something be loose?

More than likely hen they servicedthe a.c., they failed to tighten the belts all the way. your battery is chargd by the altenator, and that part requires that the belt to it is tightened suffiecently. if its too loose it has a hard time doing its job...which is to chare the battery. tighten up all the belts, via the tensoner and you will be fine...problem fixed!!

My 95 town car still won't rise after changing the compressor and rear air bags. Check compressor relay and fuses and they are good. compressor starts when pins 30 & 87 are jumped. Now my car won'

There is a master dump Solenoid that should be below and inside the Drivers' front fender or valance. This Solenoid lets all the air out of the system. It can rust OPEN and freeze the system.

The ability to pump up the air and activate the compressor ONLY occurs when the car senses that all the openings of the car are closed. This means the trunk and the doors. The idea being that the car is allowed to squat low so loading the trunk is easier and the passengers can enter the car easier.

The Air-ride system has a test port for the Module and a Scanner can be connected to analyze the system. It takes a Scanner capable of reading that special system.

The battery can drain if a door switch in the domelight circuit is touching a metal part. The doorjam switches have 3 wires instead of 2 if the vehicle has Air-ride.

You can do a Web search for locations of the parts you want. Youtube sometimes has videos of a specific repair.

This is something a good scanner can save you money with, because it quickly finds the problem and you are not buying parts you don't need. Might be worth it to go to a Dealer or electric shop having the right tools for this.

It could be your compressor. You can check this by popping it out and putting a 12 volt source on it.

Air conditioning won't engage

To reset your AC compressor, you need to remove power for at least 15 minutes. After you reconnect, the compressor should turn on. If it does, immediately turn to high and try to add refrigerant. Best of luck.

A/c troubles

Is the fan working now?If it is you are most likely low on refrigerant(charge). The compressor has to be running before you can charge it,which means that you have a leak somewhere.
