this could be anything from a crank position sensor to the chip fallen out of the key ,try the spare key first then see what happens ,if still no go then go from their .did the battery go flat and since then it will not start ??

My 1999 Plymouth breeze wont start

Fuel, spark, air is the fire triangle... You're unfortunately missing one of those... Try simply waiting for a long time an hour or so and jump starting the car if necessary.... my guess is that you may have flooded the engine with repeated failed attempts to start the engine. That means there is too much gas and the plugs can't spark because they're too wet with fuel...

1999 plymouth breeze engine problem

the wrong plugs may have upset the ECM, disconnect the battery for about half an hour, reconnect and see if it has been able to reset itself

My 1997 plymouth breeze started fine at lunch but after work it turned over but would not start

most probably no gas or no spark. When u turn the key to the ON position, do u hear the fuel pump for 2 seconds? If u do, then u most probably have no spark. To test the spark, u go to an autoparts strore, buy a spark tester. Plug this to the No.1 cylinder ( its at the far end opposite of the tranny) plug wire (dont remove the sparkplug, just the wire). Find urself a good ground to plug the sparktester to and ask a friend to turn the engine over and check to see if u see a spark.
Hope this helps.
