Hi i dont think its a simple fix as you suggest. I have removed the circuit board and there is a bank of 3 tiny bulbs which are part of the circuit board itself. I should imagine that the current is supplied by some form of resistor, but I am not sure. Also I would have thought if it was the fuse that was the problem would it not affect some of the other electrics? as I would have thought ford would not have used a fuse to protect the one item ie the computer illumination.Hi i dont think its a simple fix as you suggest. sounds like the altinator bearing is going out, check the altinator charge, it should be atleast 14.5v maximum, and no less than 12.5v. also check the battery voltage.
hi, if your radio code for example is 8156 you push the no1 button 8 times then no2 button 1 times then no3 button 5 times then no4 button 6 times then hold down the number 6 button for about 5 seconds and the radio code will store automatacly and start up. hope this helps you regards
it sounds like the switch as broke were the hand brake lever is what you need to do is were the hand brake is there should be some sort of caseing around it you need to unscrew this in there they will be a black thing that when you put the hand brake down it will sit on this button to make it go out then when you pull it up it will come on again. so you need to find it check all wires are on and that the brake is sitting on it right if not replace it.. hope this helps you please leave feed back if it does..
