Question about 2002 Chrysler Sebring
No, the engines are not interchangeable. If you are looking to do a motor swap from a different vehicle then you need to make sure that the liter size of the motor and the displacement are the same....ie...2.4liter 3.0 liter, 3.5 liter, etcetera. If you are looking tp purchase a "donor" vehicle to use it for a motor or such, then you can look at the vin number to determine if it's the same engine code as yours.Count the eighth number of the vin and it will be the engine code, as long as this vin number is the same then the motor and/or trans will work in your vehicle.I hope I could help...Thanks for using Fixya, and rate me accordingly!!

Sure...but you will have to replace everything...harnesses, computers and every sensor plus the trans and then probably have to modify the engine mounts plus suspension but anything is possible if you can put in the work and time
however, personally, this vehicle is not with the time/effort
