Why my 1999 Chevy Blazer 4.3, engine starts, runs about 5 second, dies and then won't start, if you wait 10 minutes it starts and runs fine, this happens once every few weeks/months or twice in one da

You may be having an intermittent failure with the fuel pressure regulator - checking the fuel pressure when the truck won't start may pinpoint this problem. If the pressure looks OK, this same problem can be caused by the ignition system as well (ignition coil or control module).

I have a 1999 chevy blazer that died and will not start

Looks like you've covered the basics, make sure the firing order is correct with your spark plug wire replacement. Hope this diagram helps.

Car won't start

I had the same problem it was the fuel pump itself. Have it pressure line tested, if it is lower then 60 psi then its bad. Mine was reading 55psi and would not start my blazer. If i sprayed starter fluid in the throttle body vrrrm start right up. This is because (what I was told) it is a high pressure furl system. also make sure the line you replaced is installed right and is right line

1999 chevy blazer wont start

THE FUEL PUMP IS BAD.

if your losing fuel pressure after the pump runs the drain back valve in the pump has failed.

and i doubt that you are seeing enough fuel pressure to run a vortec engine.

low fuel pressure equals a non running vortec

1999 chevy blazer fuel problem

probably not fuel filter . probably going to have to remove the upper intake and replace the fuel injector spider(fuel inj assebly) if it is droping fuel pressure it is leaking into the upper manifold

Won't stay running

sounds like fuel delivery, sometimes check valve in fuel pump will quit working and fuel will drain back into tank, or pin hole in one of fuel lines, check fuel pressure
