Temperature gauge does not work in my 99 volkswagon passat ,all fuses look good

The Most Common Cause of Temp. Gauge on this Model was Found to be Temperature Sensor.

    Thanks for your response!!

    This actually drives us more towards Faulty Temperature Sensor. Many reports were there due to Faulty Temperature Senor on this Car. Intermittent Working, False Reading are Few More Indicators of Faulty Sensor.

    We always Replace this, as it is Quite Cheap and easy Fix. If the Problem Persists, then we need to look for Broader Aspects.

How to replace a motor mount on a 1999 passat


I went to roll my left rear window in my 99 Passat and i heard something drop. the window wont go down now. but the motor works cause i can hear it going up and down. And when i bring it down it wont take the window with it. It seem as if the peice that hold the window to the track has fallen off . Anyone have idea of what this part could be??

Cause is lack of oil not getting to lifters. Try using a good cleaner to flush the engine and change to a lighter oil for a couple oil changes.
