I need the replace the bulb for the clock on a 2006 Toyota 4-runner

The only bulb you can change would be for the night view, this would be the bulb that lights the back ground of the clock, most models have a replaceable bulb in the rear of the clock,, you will need to remove it and see if yours has a removable bulb, if not then clock must be replaced.

If your problem is that the clock does not work then check the fuses, all fuses and if they are good then clock will need to be replaced.

Need a replacement clock for a 2004 Corolla, "S" Model

The clocks in these older Corollas are notorious for giving an intermittent or dead display. The clock can be easily removed and inexpensively repaired at www.subaru-clock.com. If you need tips on removal of the clock, he can help with that, too.

The plastic cover over the numbers on my in dash clock

You may have to replace the clock. Cleaners that you are using to clean the dash, may have damaged the cover.

Need to remove dashboard instrument panel to replace bulbs on a 2000 w reg hyundi accent

there are screws in the black plastic trim around the clocks, remove these and pull the trim forward. then remove the screws securing the actual clocks into the dash, then pull the clocks gently forward.
on the rear are 2 plugs and the speedo connection, these will need disconnecting to completely remove the clocks.
once removed on the rear of the clocks are the bulbs , easily removed by twisting the holders anti clockwise.

to re install, do the above in reverse..

Clock not working

Yup, if the aux fuse is OK then the clock most likely went bad internally. Unfortunately, many clocks of this vintage go bad over time. I offer a reasonable repair service and many clock removal instruction sheets at www.autoclockrepair.com
I'd be happy to assist.

Replacing dashboard clock. How do I remove the dash? 1997 Ford Escort

You shouldn't have to remove the dash to replace a clock, the dash basically does not come out. It would take you 2 days to do it. The clock itself should pop out of its spot and be serviceable.

Also have problem with clock no working.

The clock is easy to remove. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guerantee.

Clock removal instructions are available here:
http://autoclockrepair.com/vehiclespurchase

1. Place fingers under removable panel and gently lift.
2. It should hinge at the top. Lift until the whole panel
comes off.
3. Then you'll see four clip-in slots where the clock is
being held in place. 2 on top and 2 on bottom (red
arrows). Pull the slots (that are on the panel) away from
the clips (that are on the clock) and push the face of the
clock in so it will pop out through the back. Remove
white power source by holding down the tab and pulling
back.

Clock bulb replacement

Sisters car has the same thing. I don't think they have a bulb to light up the clock. I'm not too sure. I might try again I had to repair the aircon switch before.

How to remove the clock.

You have to remove the center console to remove the clock. (Manual car version)

-Unscrew gear knob.
-Pull out gear shifter cover surround.
-Remove cover plate with small flat blade in little tray aft of the gear stick.
-Remove 2 screws revealed by cover.
-Remove 2 screws 1 on either side of the AFT (not middle) end of the center console.
-Remove aft half of center console.
-Remove 2 screws 1 on either side fwd of air con controls.
-Remove 1 screw underneath ash tray.
-Remove hazard switch and other switch next to clock using a flat blade to pry them out.
-Unclip switches disconnect plugs.
-Remove 2 screws revealed behind switches.
-Take your time to remove fwd console / dash trim (extra screws might be there to take out).
-Disconnect clock plug.
-Remove clock.

Let me know if there is a bulb in there
