Question about 1995 Toyota Camry

1 Answer

1993 Toyota Camry 2.2, Drivers side, should the axle be able to move around while siting inside the differential? I think this is where my shutter/vibration problem is when going 50 to 55. What might be the fix for this?

I have a 1year old mitsubishi canter 3C13 tipper which has a bent axle and damaged differential, is this a manufacturing problem as we have had toyota tippers for 10years and never had problems

I think one of the drivers has had a tipple too many and hit something hard and kept quite ,being a old hand on fleet vehicles from skip lorries to catapilar dozers i have seen many things including bent axles and this is common on trucks that visit offroad sites and get stuck then pulled out with a dozer and a chain around the axle instead of the two spring hanger brackets .twisted 8 wheeler chassis ,bumpers pulled off and tippers on their side where the back doors havent been tied back or just sunk without trace in wet conditions over the tip ,

Most likely one of the cv joints is coming apart, in which case the axle assembly should be replaced.

I have a 1995 toyota camry 2.2L 4 cly auto. We just changed the half shafts on both sides left side first then the right side one at a time. It drove in but now after everything is togeather it doesn't...

One or both the shafts is the incorrect size and is not engaging the gears correctly. Double check the part numbers and make sure you have the correct shafts and that they have engaged into the differential correctly. They actually go into the differential not the transmission directly.

Pulled my cv axle out of my 1993 toyota camry now da transmission wont pull plz help

If you took the cv axle out and didn't replace it then there's nothing transferring the engine's power to your wheels.

Pulling drivers side half shaft on Toyota Camry 93 4 cyl

There is a pin in the differental that has to be taken out to pull the axles out. 1-bolt to remove the pin, then the C-clips will come off to slide the axles out.

Car won't move while in gear or stay still in park

You have either broken an axle or the differential is gone in the trans axle. If it is just an axle maybe 1 or 2 hundred dollars. If it is the trans axle you are looking at possibly $1000 or more. Sounds more like it is the trans axle though. Mike
