I have a Crown Vic and all of the lights work except for when I push the brake pedal what is wrong with my tail lights

If that is a retired police car, the brake light wire might have been cut to modify the circuit for police gear. If it is not then you have a bad brake light switch. Look up under the dash on the drivers side. Follow the brake pedal shaft up and there should be a bracket with a switch on it. That switch may become loose or damaged, also check the wires while you are under there. Look for splices or breaks.

When u get caught stealing from a store and the security claims he would send a fine to your house how long u usually wait until u know that what he said was a lie

in most cases , when you are caught stealing, it is a criminal offence and the police have to become involved
the security can hold you until the police arrive and take you into custody
the police will inform you of when you have to appear or if a fine will issued
I might suggest that the security guard was trying to scare you and in fact a good clip under the ear might have taught you something and that was what he was trying to do
next time don't steal but pay for it the same as every one else

Is hard for me to see at night the headlights doesn't iluminate that much no more what can i do?

Your vehicle is equipped with composite headlights. That means that they are made out of plastic. The bulbs are replaceable. You can access the bulbs from under the hood. Most likely, your headlight lenses have become frosted with age. If that is the case, here is how to make them clear again: Get a sheet of 2000 grit wet or dry sandpaper at any auto parts store. soak the sandpaper in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften it up a little. Now cut the sheet of sandpaper into approximately 4inch by 4inch sheets. Take one sheet and fold it in half. You will use this sheet to sand your headlight lenses. making sure that the lense and the sandpaper stays wet, lightly sand the entire lense until it begins to clear up and become smooth. When it reaches that stage, you will need to use a good automotive rubbing compound and a dry cloth and buff out all the sandpaper scratches. I've done this many times with excellent results. The headlight won't be good as new, but it will be much brighter. There are products on the market made just for this purpose, but they are pricey. Also, the halogen bulbs inside your headlights will become yellow with age. It's a slow process so most people don';t realize how dim their lights have become. New halogen bulbs will make a dramatic improvement now that your lenses are clear again.

Ac blows out the defrost duct only started2 years agoafter a couple of miles it would switch to regularac ducts now only defrost is this a vacume line or is there a relay and where please

If the vacuum line becomes disconnected from the blend door actuator, then it will go to defrost by default so that the driver will not have to look through a foggy windshield in the event that the vacuum line accidentally becomes disconnected or becomes disconnected due to age of the rubber of the vacuum line.

Have to get to the blend door actuator to fix the problem if the vacuum line has become disconnected somehow.

How to replace a fuel filter on a 2007 4runner

It's the new age of car design. As building tolerances become greater, engine/drivetrains become more efficient, and lubricants (ie synthetics) improve in wear properties, maintanance has been greatly extended on modern cars. Just follow your maintanance schedules (mostly oil and filters) and you'll be fine.

2007 Chevy Classic Crew Cab tried to overheat in traffic for the first time. I have 48000 miles.

Your vehicle should never over heat regardless of age. Your thermostat and radiator cap will however become tired and will need to be replaced. The coolant in your engine should also be replaced as the PH level will rise and this will eat away at your radiator.
As for your brakes squealing, they may need to be replaced. There are little springs on your front brakes that will contact your rotor and these are intended to let you know that you have 10% left.

2003 Crown Vic Misfiring after acceleration

I just came up with that exact issue in my 2003 with 98K police crown vic. And the last time I had this issue in a 2001 police Crown vic it was the crank shaft position sensor. A $20 part and about 30 mins to put it in. located near the bottom of the engine. I had to un bolt the A/C compressor and push it out of the way a few inches to get to the sensor. If you have about 100K mile on it and its an idled heavy police car, this sensor should be changed out anyway. It can leave you on the road dead and some dealers have a hard time find out whats wrong as the OBD 2 does not see it as a problem when it goes bad or becomes touchy as I think mine is.
