    i have checked the coil at autozone and its good, i have no clue what else i could check and i had the ignition thing that is under the distributor aND ITS GOOD AS WELL. I AM NOT SURE WHAT ELSE TO CHECK TO SEE WHY I AM NOT GETTING FIRE AT THE COIL..

Bad ignition control module,which is held by 2 screws under the distributor. when the di electric grease dries out on these,they cause a no spark condition. replacements cost around 35 bucks at auto zone,and take less than 5 min ti install.

If there is no spark coming from the coil, it could be the module on the side of the dist or the pickup coil inside the dist, or the coil.
The pickup tells the module when to ground the coil which makes the spark.
You may need a repair book or shop manual to get the testing procedures for each component.

No spark not getting fuel

You don't give an engine size but it sounds suspiciously like something along the lines of a pickup coil, reluctor, or possibly the computer itself. The computer will not fire the coil or the injectors if there is no signal from the pickup coil to synchronize them to.

I got fire at my coil now but i get no fire to my distributer or my plugs

pickup coil or ignitor check all fuses and grounds first then look under cap and see the rotor as well the pickup is underneath it

I had to replace the magnetic pick-up sensor on the side of the distributor that tells the coil when to fire on my 86 truck. It was $80 and slips onto the distributor held on by the cap.

check to see if fire from coil an body grounds are a must check those an if fire is at coil check cap an button distributer has a pickup coil most likley

How to install a 1992 chevy pickup camshaft sensor 1992 chevy pickup 1500 z71 and where is it located? i have no spark coming from my coil so this is my next task? any other answers?

There isn't a camshaft sensor. The distributor has a control module and a pick up coil inside of it, 1 or both could be bad, it's usually best to replace both. Some parts stores can test them. The is also an Electronic Spark Control Module. I would check the pick up coil and control module.

1998 z71 starts but looses fire on all cyl bump it it will fire then loose it

check the coil and coil wire. if they apear to be good change the ingnition module

1984 toyota pickup 22r motor. No fire to distributor, I have power to coil but no power from coil to coil wire to distributor. coil, distributor modgual, altunator, all checked good. any ideas wall help.

At the cost of the igniter i recommend checking your pickup coil.( The 2 wire sensor in side of your distributor. The The igniter will not allow the coil to fire with out reference form the pickup coil. Coil has primary and secondary resistances. when the primary coil powers up and then pulses off, this cause a high voltage due to magnetic degeneration. Check the coils primary and secondary resitances along with the air gap in the pickup coil, and also check the resitances on the pickup coil. If i am right your igniter will be okay.Get a good manual for you truck, It will save you money down the road.
Toyota does not have at test proseger for the ingiter.

Also check the wires in between the pickup coil and the igniter.
