Unfortunely you will have to remove the radiator and you might be able to find a radiator shop that could replace the tank that has that on it. Kind of doubtful though, most likely you will have to replace the radiator, around $200.00. That hose must be connected to the radiator so coolant can expand and contract into the overflow bottle.

Its a durango it leaks out of the top radator hose which has a radator cap on ( where it leaks from

If it's leaking at the cap, the cap is bad. If the hose itself is leaking then tighten the clamp or inspect for a crack.

I have a gmc sierra 2500 I put a chevy sb350 in it. When I bought it the overflow hose from the radiator to the overflow box were capped on both ends both the top inlets n outlets. My buddy put the hose...

the hose from the radiator top to the reservoir has to be connected as this will be a hose that allows any air generated in the cooling system to be bled off and prevent air blockages in the engine

How do i flush the radator

The correct way would be to use a flushing machine to keep from polluting the ground or storm drains.
You could remove the lower hose and run water thru the radiator from the radiator cap or overflow tank.

I have a thermostat that is stuck in the open position. How do I replace it?

at the bottom of the radator there is a petcock valve open it and drain out a little bit of antifreeze then at the top of the radator follow the top hose to the motor and you will find a metal housing that has 2 bolts take them out and give the housing a tap then remove the housing and take a note on how the thermostat is installed the new one has to go back in the same way but before you do that clean any crud or old gasket meterial off replace the housing and tighten the bolts refill the radator start your motor and check for leaks.

If you follow the lower radator hoses to the block it right there. Its one of the few car that have it at the end or the lower radator hose.

Take out radator

Get yourself a Chilton or Haynes repair guide for this model van. They are available at any auto parts store and will show you how to do this step by step. If you plan to do it yourself, be prepared to drain the cooling system completely. While you are at it, you might as well replace the hoses and thermostat if they are more than 3 years old. Once the hoses are off and the system is drained, you will find brackets at the top of the radiator that once removed, should allow you to pull it out.
