The abs and battery light keep coming on in my 04 mercury sable, as well as my door locks keep unlocking. What is going on?

You have three separate problems with your car at the same time. ABS is antilock brakes. You may have a bad sensor at one of the wheels. Your alternator is not putting out enough power to recharge the battery. You may have a loose wire at a connection point at the switch that controls the power door locks.

Abs light stays on and brakes are locking up on 2002 mercury sable grand marque what do i need to do to fix it?

first you have to find what is causing the brakes to lock up as this can cause the ABS to activate turning on the light. once this is done then you can see if the ABS light is on, if so you will have to have the code pulled from the ABS module to know what to test.

I can't get the !brake light on my 2000 mercury

First, check that your emergancy brake lever or foot pedal is pulled all the way up.
The next thing is probably either dirt on your anti-lock sensors at the wheels,or air getting into the line or low brake fluid in reservoir. don-ohio

2002 mercury sable brake light on replaced pads and checked fluids

With the vehicle off, turn the key to the on position and see if there is an ABS light (usually yellow/amber). If so, the brake light is related to the emergency brake and the rear calipers aren't done correctly. If no ABS light, the brake light is most likely the indicator for the ABS system. a sensor is most likely unplugged, damaged or just knocked out of calibration with the ABS drum.

Left brake light

open the trunk and pull the fabric away from the inside of the hold the light in place. Make sure you back of the brake light. There are plastic wing nuts that you remove to take the whole lens out of the body. When you have taken all of the wing nuts off, the lens wil become loose. Push on the studs that go through the metal part of the body and follow the wires to the sockets and turn them a quarter turn to release the socket from the lens. Replace the bulbs and put it all back together after you have tested all the lights. Best of luck and be safe..
